About Wil Voss

My career began in 1994 as a pre-production artist in Massachusetts, where I cut my design teeth working for Bechtel/Parsons Brinckerhoff on the Big Dig (the Central Artery Project) in downtown Boston. My artistic skills led to further design work in Boston and then New Orleans, Louisiana, where I designed and produced collateral for local companies that included the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra, Commander's Palace, Palace Cafe, Brennan's, and the New Orleans International Airport.

In 1999, my family moved to the Bay area and my interests expanded to include basic web development and simple interactive projects. During this time, the bulk of my efforts remained design-focused, which ingrained in me a deep appreciation for the work and intentions of both print and Web designers.

Seattle has been my home since March 2001. I signed on with ArtSource (now Filter) as both a production artist and an interactive designer in 2003. My first assignment, GreenRubino (formerly Hadley Green Creates), was so impressed with my skills that they hired me. I have worked at GreenRubino as a full-time designer and Web developer since March 2003. Microsoft, MSN, Bing, Washington Tourism, Washington State Wine Commission, Columbia Bank, Skagit Bank, and Captaris are just a few of the brands with which I've had the privilege of working.

In addition to my professional interests, I'm a musician, game player, father and budding outdoorsman. I received my Bachelor's of Music in Composition/Theory from Loyola University and enjoy composing for piano, voice, banjo, and guitar. My latest interests include playing banjo, learning to snowboard, and playing racquetball.
